A little history with pictures

In 1986 Bob and I just couldn’t stand it anymore. We were making the 4 hour trip to Pilgrim Glass from Cincinnati three or four times a month to work in the blow shop and realized that was where we wanted to be. We finished up all of our jobs, closed the Glass Expectations factory and in February of 1987 moved to West Virginia. Although we had played around with carving cased glass since 1985, there were some problems that we had not conquered until late the year we moved. We showed the revised samples to Alfred Knobler and before we knew it he had put four full pages in the 1988 catalog. So here are the pages from one of our marked up catalogs…hope they shed some light on our early work. – Kelsey
